MoMI Carpet Replacement
Project Details
The project began with the careful removal and tagging of 278 seats, which were stacked securely on the stage using blankets and plywood for protection. Once the floor was cleared, the air vents and existing step lights were removed, followed by a thorough leveling and preparation of the underfloor to create a smooth substrate. The redstone carpet was then installed with precision cutting and tucking around all edges to conform seamlessly to the gaps between the steps, and protective coverings were applied to high-traffic areas. During the final stages, new LED step lights and reserved seating signage were installed, the air vents and seats were reinstalled, and the entire space was deep-cleaned for the official handover to the museum.
